July’s social was very lively, despite the baking temperatures, with lots of activities going on all afternoon. The highlight of the afternoon was a visit from The Animal Experience, a local family business whose aim is to entertain and educate, with a strong focus on animal welfare and conservation. The children were encouraged to pet lizards, a tortoise, snakes, a tenrec and a delightful meerkat.
