A short exhibition at the Fitzwilliam Museum, from 26-28th September, will showcase the work of a major research project, in which many members of Cambridge’s refugee community have participated. Saturday’s launch event will feature performances in the public gallery at 1pm by Malva Voice Ukrainian choir and celebrated Syrian singer, Rama Alcoutlabi, as well as a creative workshop for families. Through focus groups and creative workshops, academic and community researchers have sought to examine the barriers to inclusion faced by refugees and migrants and how these impact on health and wellbeing. CRRC has partnered with Anglia Ruskin University and Local Government East on this project, which is nearing completion.
